ESMERALDA

Esmeralda is portrayed as a witch in several parts of the film, mainly by Claude Frollo. She is even sentenced to death by burning at the stake! Wicca is a real religion and this seems to be what she is based on.
She sings "God Help the Outcasts" which is essentially a prayer in the form of song. She even states she thought all children were children of God. The songs lyrics are literally asking God for mercy on the people who are seen as outsiders. Check it out down below! (video is not my own, owner found here)

She is a symbol of the deadly sin lust, as Claude Frollo falls "wrongfully" in lust with her.
This one might be digging quite deep, but through my research I found goats can be a symbol of the devil. Esmeralda's best friend is a goat named Djali...so is Esmeralda best friends with a devil or is it just a coincidence??
